Since 1987, she has worked producing and associate producing television commercials and live television broadcasts including Music and the Spoken Word, General Conference, and the Tabernacle Choirs concerts.
During this time cooking was her hobby and outlet.
However, cooking has now become her main career focus.
Since January 2007, Kim has been teaching cooking classes at Orson Gygi’s, promoting her cookbook “Family Comfort Favorites”, making television appearances including hosting the “Home Team’s Cooking with Kim Wednesdays” that aired last year on KJZZ 14, she hosts the series KUED Cooks for channel 7, continues to make several appearances on Good Things Utah and Studio Five as well as being a guest chef at the Home and Garden Expos, the Utah Chocolate show, and others.
For one year, she was the Food Editor for Wasatch Woman Magazine.
Despite all of the cooking and television production, Kim’s favorite full time job is that of mother to her four beautiful and very busy children. Kim is a Salt Lake City native and resides there today with her family.
